None of the women featured on this DDR stamp of 1955 is famous for any particular reason, but it is International Women's Day today and it's good to see cooperation and trust between people from different parts of the world. Note "Fédération Démocratique Internationale des Femmes", FDIF with a Peace Dove on the flag. Best motif for today! 110 years since this day was planned!
