In late October of 1998, Honduras was devastated by Hurricane Mitch. To show its appreciation to the international community, the country issued a set of two, 16-stamp sheets of large, rouletted 5.40 lempira airmail stamps showing recovery projects.

One of these stamps features ex-President George H. W. Bush. Stamp measures 48mm x 67mm.
