Post rider and Portugal's coat of arms, designed by Portuguese artist Alberto Sousa (1885-1961), die engraved by Arnoldo Fragoso, printed by typography (letterpress), and issued by Portugal on May 26, 1944 as one of a set of four similar stamps publicizing the 3rd National Philatelic Exhibition, held in Lisbon, Scott No. 634.

Here are images of the two scratch-off greetings stamps in a set depicting postmen (holding, respectively, a hidden bouquet and a hidden envelope), designed by Swiss artist and cartoonist Rapallo (1951-2005), printed by photogravure on granite paper (Courvoisier, S.A.), and issued by Liechtenstein on March 5, 2001, Scott Nos. 1201 & 1202.

Woman mail carrier, designed by Vasili Vasilievich Zavialov (1906-1972), printed by photogravure, and issued by Russia (USSR) on September 30, 1959 as one of a set of two similar stamps publicizing International Letter Writing Week, Scott No. 2240, Zagorski No. 2278.

Post rider and antique map (c. 1558) of Slovakia, designed by Dušan Grecner, printed by offset lithography, and issued by Slovakia on November 27, 2008 (Stamp Day) to commemorate the first Bratislava-Ružomberok-Košice postal link.

Here is an image of a stamp featuring a portrait of Spanish public official and academic Rafael Álvarez Sereix (1855-1946) attired as an honorary postman, and a postal cancellation bearing his name, combined engraved by Juan Carlos Heras Vicario (1961- ) and lithography, and issued by Spain on April 18, 1990 for Stamp Day, Scott No. 2621, Edifil No. 3507.

Here are images of two semi-postal (charity) stamps depicting mailmen, printed by photogravure, and issued for use in Spanish Sahara on November 23, 1959 for Stamp Day, Scott Nos. B55 & B56. Here is an image of a stamp depicting two wealthy medieval men and a kneeling messenger with an envelope, designed after an illumination of "The Husband's Return" from manuscript T.I. 1 (Códice Rico) of the 13th century Cantigas de Santa Maria, combined engraved by Enrique Paniagua Martínez (1940- ) and lithography, and issued by Spain on September 27, 1986 for Stamp Day, Scott No. 2489, Edifil No. 2857.

The Propaganda Label Collectors' Club of Munich celebrated its 25th anniversary in 1937 with 4 different, large (44mmn x 60mm) labels. This one shows a mailman. These labels can be found in various colors, both perforated and imperforate.

Postal runner with cleft stick holding mail, designed by French artist Pierrette Lambert (1928- ), printed by photogravure (Delrieu), and issued by Central African Republic on August 12, 1972 as one of a set of six stamps publicizing the CENTRAPHILEX philatelic exhibition, held in Bangui, Scott No. 174.

Here is an image of a souvenir sheet and the stamp contained within it depicting a whimsical racing messenger and a horse, designed by Erna de Vries (1923- ), printed by lithography, and issued by Germany on April 11, 1996 "for the children," Scott No. 1925, Michel No. 1853.

This 2002 airmail cover contained a stamp trade. The majority (3.75) of the 4 peso rate was paid by five 75 centavo stamps featuring a mailman.
