Counting what has been posted above adds up to a lot of stamp releases.

Lovely cards John, thanks for sharing. I saw one of those termite mounds years ago. Amazing. They build them so high to avoid the floods during the rainy season if I remember.

I wish Canada did these cards. They have postcards with a printed on version of the stamp on the reverse but that is hard to display. I tried making some years ago but the cards are too glossy to hold the ink of the cancel good enough. I think you have to let it dry for a month or something. Takes dedication.

I like seeing all these maximum cards / maxicards here...
I appreciate them for what they are (nice creations of Australia Post, in general), and I don't criticize them for what they are not (maximum cards compliant with the current regulations of FIP Comission for Maximaphily).
Those regulations reject postcards created specially for the issuance of maximum cards by a National Post.
A true maxicard should be created with "a commercial postcard previously available", before the issuance of the new stamp(s).
There are other finer points in the rules about that, but this is the main point.
Well, unlike FIP CfM, I appreciate, as I said, even such "philatelic cartons" as some purists call them, and I enjoy their contribution to our personal collecting pleasure. :)

Since USPS has issued only a handful of maximum cards, for very few stamps, most of my maxicards are collector-created.
For example, I created this after I asked a friend from Macedonia to send me postcards with Mother Teresa:

I am sure that many of us have learnt a great deal about collecting Maximaphily.
At present we have another 2 or 3 threads with heaps of information as well.

Thank you very much, KGV Collector/John & Family! You made my day...:)...I will have to write someday a Beginner's Guide to Maximaphily, because many get DISCOURAGED, NOT ENCOURAGED when they see ONLY BEAUTIFUL maxicards, with pictorial postmarks. I'll have to show how anybody can start creating MCs from TODAY ON, and I'll have to share many tips and tricks to avoid frustration and get pleasing results...:)

Interesting animals, amazing Leopard (Jeremiah 12,23)A Leopard can not change his spots. It is nice to know where this saying comes from and with hexagon cancel for Puzzler. The animals are not just from USA, very nice.

The Woolly Mammoth cancel confuses me. It looks to be an American and Canada card and cancel. But I live so far away from these two countries I am still learning.
