Costa Rica issued its 3rd computer-vended stamp on September 24, 2003. It pictures the red-eyed tree frog (Agalynchis callidryas). 2.85 million of the unvalued stamps were produced, and they were in use through February of 2004.

This 2012 stamp from private mail courier Post Modern (Dresden, Germany) commemorates the 18th European Seniors' Light Athletics Championship and features a jogging, anthropomorphic frog.
