Seeing it says philatelic counter, not post, I'm not sure I could say it was used for mailing anything, could I?

Fair enough,
it would be helpful for you, to have you become conversant with the style
of SLOGAN POSTMARKS available worldwide, to see that vast
amount of propaganda, placed alongside the CDS (circular Date stamp)

It should increase your enjoyment of Pmk collecting.

I found reference to your slogan (unlisted in database) but no images
also in those references were a common text word "bug", I am not familiar with that philatelic parlance.

Great Britain has a vast array of Slogans,
one slogan was removed (banned) as it had Queen Elizabeth "cocking a snook " with a thumb on her nose. (a classic display of derision)
(Ramsgate)
Used on cover £10-£20

that probably came off wrong, when I think of bullseye or SON
I try to include a date to post here, unless it's something interesting, not in general.
I didn't think I had enough to information to assume it was used as postage,

All's good,
Learning is part of the fun.

So your image, not a "Socked on Nose" but it would have a CDS on the left hand edge of the wording, that could be a SON.

Now Liepaja, it is known throughout Latvia as the "city where the wind is born", Wikipedia says, because of the constant Baltic Sea breeze there. The largest wind turbine farm in that nation was constructed nearby.

KRelyea, your Baarle-Hertog cancels are really nice.

From wikipedia, "The border's complexity results from a number of medieval treaties, agreements, land-swaps and sales between the Lords of Breda and the Dukes of Brabant. Generally speaking, predominately agricultural or built environments became constituents of Brabant and other parts devolved to Breda...During the First World War, this situation meant that the German Imperial Army could not occupy these parts of Belgium without crossing the Netherlands, which the Dutch government did not allow. Thus, these pieces of Belgium became a place where refugees could safely stay. A clandestine radio transmitter was smuggled in and from there worked with the Belgian resistance. The Dutch government fenced off these areas and controlled access in or out of them."

SENS 30. 08. (04.). The year is not aligned properly in the cancel. Sens is a town in the Yonne Department in Bourgogne-Franche-Comte, north central France.

Cancel shows an artist's view of the Mill Park in Tan, Sens. According to the Bourgogne website, the park "has an arboretum and animal enclosures".

Vavau, Tonga, now Vava'u. Probably used for the whole district/island group in the north of the country. There's also a Vavau village in Samoa.

Apologies for the toning, but that's about par for the course for postally used Tonga of the era excluding Tin Can Mail covers.
