Here is a "Naplaceno" (charged, or paid) cancel on the July 1866 Vienna printing of the 20 para Prince Michael stamp of Serbia. Second pic shows the complete cancel by placing the stamp over the cancel's illustration on page 64 of Mirko Rasic's Postal History and Postage Stamps of Serbia. According to the handbook, the cancellation was used at Cupria and Shabatz. Stamp has been expertized by Velickovic.

This 1919 'chain breaker' stamp of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes was issued for the Slovenia area. The cancel reads SZABADKA. This is a Hungarian language name for the Serbian city of Subotica, which is a border town near Hungary and not close to Slovenia. Historically, the city has had a large population of ethnic Hungarians.

From wikipedia, "The earliest name for the city was 'Zabotka' or 'Zabatka, which dates from 1391...During the Yugoslav and Kosovo wars in the 1990s, a considerable number of Serb refugees came to the city from Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Kosovo, while many ethnic Hungarians and Croats, as well as some local Serbs, left the region."

Currently the city's population is approximately 100,000.

Here is a cancellation of Lauf a.d. Pegnitz, Germany. The town's four-digit postal code was 8560 in 1982. The new (1993) postal code is 91207.

From wikipedia, "Lauf and der Pegnitz is a town to the east of Nuremberg, Germany. It is the capital of the district Nuernberger Land, in Bavaria. It is in the valley of the River Pegnitz, which flows through the town."

Second pic shows the Old Town Hall (1546) which now serves as a restaurant.

Gibraltar Scott 42, SG 155

Since most of what we see on Elizabethan issues are bars from machine cancels, I didn't expect to see a (pure) SOTN cancel on anything this recent except for CTOs. So here is a very recent find, a CDS-style parcel post cancel.

Cristobal, at the Atlantic/Caribbean end of the Panama Canal, was an important port of entry for construction of that waterway. After administration of the Canal Zone was turned over to Panama, it eventually became a part of the adjacent city of Colon. "Cristobal Colon" is the Spanish translation of "Christopher Columbus."

NORDJYLLANDS POSTCENTER

This cancel is from the North Jutland Mail Processing Center in Aalborg, Denmark. The size of the cancel (30mm diameter) makes it tough to get a complete one, unless it is on a multiple, or oversized commemorative.

Greenland Scott 60

NARSSAQ (Narsaq), a town near the southernmost tip of Greenland. The CDS really doesn't fit the stamp, but all the data is there.

Kea is an island in the Adriatic Sea. After reading the Wiki article I almost want to go there. Great beaches, great walking trails and lots of ancient ruins.

Golden Grove, in St. Thomas Parish near the eastern tip of Jamaica, began as a sugar producing settlement in the 18th Century and is today a small town. Belying Golden Grove's pleasant name, a Wikipedia article says of it: "A 2000 travel guide described Golden Grove as "rather shabby", adding that tourists "won't want to stop here".
