Here is Iceland's May 13, 1997 set of two stamps (Facit #s 905-6) publicizing the 7th European Small Nations Games. The 35 kr value depicts hurdle racing and the 45 kr stamp shows sailing. From the Facit Special catalog, "The games were held in Iceland 3-7 June, 1997 with participants from Andorra, Cyprus, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco and San Marino."  |
