Joint issue between Canada and USA commemorating 400th anniversary of the mapping of the East Coast by Samuel de Champlain. This is the Canadian version which has a UPC barcode in the lower left corner, the USA souvenir sheet does not have the barcode.  |

I wonder what two countries hold the record for putting out Joint Issues? I have a suspicion that it just might be Canada and the United States but have nothing to back up this assumption. Here are a couple more to play on that idea. Benjamin Franklin as Postmaster in the two future countries just prior to the Revolutionary War.  And here is another one commemorating the "Peace Bridge". This one really is a joint issue, apparently, despite designs which have absolutely nothing in common.  And on that theme, here is the souvenir sheet with a joint issue between Australia and Canada. Again, the stamps are nothing like one another except for the topic.  |

FDC for joint issue between Malaysia and Brunei in 2007 on the theme of marine life. The stamps feature 2 coral reef fish - the Orange-striped Triggerfish and the Leaf Scorpiofish. The issue also includes a miniature sheet from both countries, featuring the Chambered Nautilus (a pelagic mollusc), and the Spotted Boxfish.  |

To commemorate Mexican independence from Spain, Mexico issued three stamps, Scott 910-912, and the United States issued one stamp, Scott 1157 in a joint issue between both countries. All four stamps issued in 1960.  |

In 1965, the United States and Spain, issued a joint issue stamp on the Settlement of Florida. U.S. Scott 1271, Spain Scott 1312.  |

In 1960 Italy and the United States issued a joint issue on the Italian physician Philip Mazzei. Mazzei was involved with the purchasing of weapons during the American Revolutionary War for the colony of Virginia. Itsly Scott 1439, U.S. Scott C98, an airmail stamp.  |
