Looks like a Turkey 2pi. Maybe a Scott 31. There are several different variations.

The Scott 31 is pin perfed 5-11 so your 9 would be appropriate. Pin perf seems to always be ragged to me.

Scott Catalog #31 Color is RED.
But this stamp is orange!! Color

Mistake in Scott??

Yes Scott says 31 is listed as red. But with use & age I found color is sometimes difficult. I'm far from an expert but I've had other stamps that aren't the original color due to time. I also just recently found that different catalogs have the same stamp listed with a different color description.

The color is correct, they actually varied a fair amount with that printing.
