Kuwait Scott 112 Error?

I MUST BE MISSING SOMETHING THAT SHOULD BE OBVIOUS. I HAVE WHAT I THOUGHT MIGHT BE KUWAIT SCOTT 112 WITH THE APPROPRIATE OVERPRINT OF 40 NP, BUT WITHOUT THE KUWAIT OVERPRINT. I THEREFORE ASSUMED IT MUST BE GREAT BRITAIN, HOWEVER I CANNOT FIND ANY ISSUE WITH NP VALUES. WHAT AM I MISSING? THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP.

A picture would help immensely to get answers to your question but off the top of my head I would say your stamp is for Oman.
