Hello everyone ! I have this stamp from New South Wales and I remarked this interesting blue cancellation. The picture is modifying the color of the cancellation, but the cancellation is deep blue, and looks a little like grey but it's not. I think that colorful cancellations are sometimes rare (am I right?) and I was curious to know if it's rare or not.

Thanks for any informations,

CS

Part strikes like this are very difficult to identify. At a guess I'd say it's a UK marking, and pre 1872 at that. Blue cancellations in the UK aren't that rare, but the specific postmark might be.

The numeral cancellation is 137 Moama.

Oh yeah I already saw this cancellation before. (The UK one) But it was black, and not blue.
Thanks for the information about the numeral one ! But you can't know if the fact that it's blue makes it more exceptional ?
