I heard that the 2025 edition is ready to go to the printer, but Unitrade is for sale so publication is delayed pending a new owner. |

Huh... for some reason I thought the 2024 edition was the final version of the catalogue as new ownership for Unitrade had not been obtained. I'll be danged if I can remember where I read that though... |

Yes there was a post last year on this forum that the 2024 Unitrade Canada catalogue could well be the last one since Unitrade was up for sale. |

Their website referencing stamps appears to not exist any longer. The only web presence I could find related to Unitrade Associates is "coinsunlimited.ca". |

This is where I think the stamp societies (one of the Canadian ones) could takeover publication. It would not have to be done on an annual basis. |

Good idea, angore. Note that ACSC, the Australian go-to catalogue which is published commercially, is only revised every five or so years.
Whether Unitrade's low cost can be maintained is, however, a major question. Speaking personally, a higher price would be acceptable to me. I think that Unitrade have done a great job with this catalogue. |

I love the Unitrade catalog from the spiral binding to the page layout. Very user friendly and well done. It seems silly to publish an annual edition though when the only changes are new issues and maybe a new find here or there or a correction. Values don't really need to change that often specially since the market sets the price. Why not handle annual changes with a small supplement if necessary. I really, really hope it does not disappear for good. One of my favorite catalogs. |

I agree with rogdcam and want to replace my 2019 version now more than ever. When you open to page one and see such a strong cast of characters under 'Editorial Associates', there just have to be some wheels turning to keep this going. They are all stakeholders and I'm sure every one wants to carry on the mission. Erling van Dam who specializes in Revenues is also not getting any younger but fingers crossed. |

If you want a 2024 catalog, better get it soon as a lot of places are now sold out |

I heard from two dealers at the MSDA show this weekend that a duaghter or granddaughter of the previous owner intends to get the catalogue back up and running, but most likely for 2026, so there won't be a 2025 edition. I have no idea if this is accurate or just rumour. I was on the fence about getting a 2024 edition because I have a 2022, and I really don't consult it all that often, but in case 2024 would be the last edition, I ended up ordering one from Canada Post, which is about the only place I found that still has it available. It's priced at CA$74.95, which works out to roughly US$52 shipped. |
