I have used ebay for many years to improve my collection and have found some excellent bargains.

As an occasional seller, I have found in recent times that there just doesn't seem to be traffic finding my listings.

Can I enlist your assistance to increase traffic to my items for sale by clicking on the link for my ebay listings and increasing page views for me?

If you see anything you like, please email me and I'll work out a special price for traffic that comes from this forum.

If you have a collecting interest that I have not covered, please let me know, I'll see if I have something for you.

Thanks in advance everyone.

That is one of the better reasons to use eBay as you yourself found.

Are you listing your material for sale at "excellent bargain" prices? Low prices drive views, it may take even lower prices to drive views to items having less collector demand.

EDIT: I wrote the above before I looked at your listings because what I said generally applies to any listing of most any item category.

That said I went and looked at your 19 current listings, most being 1960 BRM. Now I happen to collect postage due covers of some types and periods, BUT I have no interest in any of your postage due listings nor the grouped cover material. I do not collect such Australian items, at any price. Additionally you are not a new seller having seven pages (25 per page) of feedback for your sales.

For you to get a page view of this type of material, postage due origination in Australia, It would need to be mailed in Australia in July 1958, short paid and arrive in the USA assessed postage due also during the month of July 1958, or days after.

The most obvious is the lack of the vital keyword "Australia" in the title. All of your current listings have either "Australian" or "Aust".
Nor do I see a single catalog number in any title or description.
Bottom line: improve your titles with better keywords.

Why the need for them to be only July 1958 or days after? While an early usage might be more sought after, it hardly makes others of no interest.

The USPOD had a postage due penalty fee of five cents, as in five cents plus the amount otherwise due on domestic US mail. The rate period for the penalty was from July 1, 1958 until July 31, 1958. That is the so called Plus a Nickle rate period. Incoming international postage due during the time period was not to be assessed the five cent penalty fee.

As to the comment regarding Australia as a search term, I second that suggestion.

Ebay is a bargain to buy but not to sell ----simple answer ----- Your not selling bargains to other buyers .

Too many people are trying to sell what they got at a profit . It is easy to say sellers want to buy at $1.00 and list and sell at $2.00 .

What is missing is both the person who just wants to get rid of a old collection sitting in the attic or the stamp collector who purchase a collection who takes out what they want and then sells the rest ,just to clean out the room with no interest of becoming a seller ,want to clear out the material so he can buy more .
