Does this qualify as a Cinderella since the issuing "country" is generally not recognized?

I think most collectors would think so. BTW, I have a Lennon-Marx shirt similar to this.

Try finding one on cover, then you know they are legal

Just to clarify, the Republic of Abkhazia is recognized by Russia, Venezuela, Nicaragua, Nauru, and Syria, but nearly all of the United Nations member states consider Abkhazia as a sovereign territory of Georgia. (Wikipedia)

Abkhazia is a territory of Georgia occupied by Russia.
