I've seen other threads on the older Imperf and Perf series of stamps, but I have not quite found a similarly collated thread for sharing the 1861 series of perfs. I would like to start a thread as a result, and I have a few in my US album that I can start with.

Here are two Scott 63's, one with an 1862 cancel and a horizontal strip of 3 with a black 10 cancel on each individual stamp

I won't state I have any Scott 64's without more formal verification, but there are a nice range of hues among the various 3 cent washingtons. I selected a few with crisp cancels or interesting ones like STEAMBOAT.

There are two Scott 67's to show, both with red cancels.

The one Scott 68 I'll show is the one I'm trying to have as my profile pic, Abe Washinton that straddles the left plate on the top row (Position 10R).

The one Scott 69 Pair in the collection

I can't say 100% that this is a Scott 70 due to the difficulty in identifying 24 cent washingtons, but I like the red pinwheel cancel

The Scott 71 I will show also likely straddles the middle, this time from the right plate.

Finally, to wrap up the series, here are two Scott 72's I can show.

Very nice variety of cancellations. The date is very clear, not always the case as you know.

I like the steamboat cancel, and your rightmost 90c stamp appears to be a centerline copy. Maybe 91R ? (I know nothing about the printing of these).

I did not notice it until now, but I think you're correct that it might be a bottom left 91R. There's around 50 stamps in the album from this period with some interesting cancels. The earliest date I think I've identified is November 18 1861 (small chance the 1 could be a 4)

Going through the Black Jacks I have, with the new scanner I got I noticed that one of them might have a multiple transfer that is most legible around the circle that surrounds the 2 in the top left corner of the stamp and along the top border there is a very faint additional line. I do not know much about this type of print but it is neat to look at I think and wanted to share the find. I added another 73 for comparison (that after making this post also appears to have something going on with the bottom right margins too around the S borders).

63s are my favorite from this series.
The 72 does look like a DT candidate at he top.

I've been taking a crack at this cancel on this Scott 69, and I think I've identified it as either Buffalo NY PN-F 20 and if not that, Albany PN-F 19. It looked like a really thick C to me, but I saw the little circle inside that led me to think it was a patent cancel (with the help of a few others online).

Here's a nice #63 Dot in "U" variety. It's a lovely color. Also can see other dots of color outside the design at top left and top right.

What's going on with the N in CENT here? The T looks a bit funny too.

In this one, would it be fair to say this is a double transfer? The letters aren't clear which seems to be a sign doubling.

This just has to be a double transfer, yes? I've added some arrows to point out some of the anomalies that just don't exist on a regular print.

@NicholasC Your last two certainly look like DTs to me! Very nice. I haven't seen one with such clear doubling.
I believe the white spots you point to are just inking abnormalities, but I do see faint re-entries at the top arrow you drew, and above the oval circling the top-right "1".

In your "Dot in U" variety, those spots of color at the corners of the design are probably guideline dots. I absolutely love to see these on classic stamps, especially when they're fully connected by a guideline.

Here's a 72 with nice connection at top:

Here's the color palette for a set of #63s that I have. I'm confident I have blue, pale blue, and bright blue. But, what's the chance any of these are the more rare colors: pale milky blue, ultramarine, dark ultramarine, or dark blue?

Looking for opinions on what the dark markings might be. Not the black grid cancel, the rest of the dark color. Is it oxidation? Can that happen in areas where there is no ink? Perhaps it's just dirty?
