I have a cover - official and registered from "Kommando des Seefliegerkorps" in Pola - to Vienna in 1918.There is 15 heller postage due stamp affixed. I am curious to know why this stamp was affixed as it surely is a cover on Official service. And why 15 heller? I tried to upload the image but even though I have scanned in black ans white the image exceeded 300Kbits.
Or you can try the included image optimizer when you compose a message. I took a 1.5 meg file but the image optimizer reduced it to below 300K in a couple of seconds.
Sometimes the Feldpost "Free" concessions did not apply, it depends on date and location. Was the date AFTER the war ended? I think Austria-Hungary signed a separate armistice with the allies 3 Nov 1918 (effective 4 Nov) so maybe free postal concessions did not apply...
