Here is another one with a break at the right of 'S' of 'WALES'. This one is watermark 68 and also has a flaw in the left value circle and after 'E' of 'POSTAGE'. Ref number is D75.

PLEASE if any readers of this thread have any pairs or larger blocks of crown over A copies could you post them here or contact me.

Not sure whether this would have been constant - colour looks a little dark in parts but OK where ink is thinner. Looks like marginal rule line below.

Q.18 Red flaw below GE of POSTAGE (Watermark 40 Die II)

The colour is very good on this one:

Q.19 Large red flaw on OS of POSTAGE and over-inked top left ribbon (Watermark 40 Die II).

I haven't seen either of these. I still have several thousand WM40's to go through, at the moment I am concentrating on the WM68 ones.

This is one I now have 2 copies of so can be classified as constant, noted as UCV143.

Void area in right by 2nd right scroll up from RVC.

Nice void Tasnaki - I don't have that one.

Most of the other flaws for which I only have one copy of are small breaks in the shield/surrounds shading or other lesser anomalies.

I'll finish with a number of flaws on the value circles, each with a copy of the normal value circles for comparison.

VC Q1. Red flaws on base of both 1s (Watermark 65)

VC Q2. Red flaws on both 1 and white flaw under P of POSTAGE (Watermark 40 Die II)

VC Q3. Break in left value circle (Watermark 40 Die II)

I cannot help with any of the colour flaws.

Your 2nd one down is interesting, I have seen a similar crown flaw on the 1907 emergency printing.

The flaw is larger on my copy than yours but the positining is right. Plated as 5A-28

Thanks Tasnaki.

My flaw on VC Q.11 looks a little further to the right than the one you've shown - are there other markers that show it to be the same position?

Despite your not being able to help with the coloured flaws, I'll continue to post them amongst the rest of the value circle flaws in case anyone spots something similar in their collection.

This one is similar to Flaw 27 on page 9 of this thread, but higher up on the value circle:

VC Q.13 Flaw on left value circle, right of d (Watermark 68)

VC Q.14 Red flaws on left 1 (Watermark 65)
