I did the voir dire, but I could not find a thread for landmark-grade buildings.

Worse, "landmark" has a very specific meaning in some circles, while less-specific terms like "famous" are, well, less-specific.

So let's do Wiki'd Buildings: if its got a wiki entry, and it got a stamp, it's in!

Wiki: The Marksburg is a castle above the town of Braubach in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is one of the principal sites of the Rhine Gorge UNESCO World Heritage Site. The fortress was used for protection rather than as a residence for royal families. Of the 40 hill castles between Bingen am Rhein and Koblenz the Marksburg is the only one which was never destroyed. The older, smaller stamp is in pfennig, 1977, the newer one in €cent, 2015.

The Albrechtsburg is a late Gothic castle that dominates the town center of Meissen in the German state of Saxony. It stands on a hill above the river Elbe, adjacent to the Meissen Cathedral. Meissen porcelain, also known as white gold, was produced at the Albrechtsburg until manufacturing moved to its present location in town in 1863. The blue definitive is one of the last stamps issued by East Germany, summer of 1990, in the traditional Meissen color.
