I am working thru the British Commonwealth alphabetically and received Scott 40-49 KGVI Ascension Island today. This is a sixteen stamp set and finishes off Ascension for me. On to Australia!

1. APS Circuit - US Unique (never seen this before)
2. eBay win - 1932 International Stamp Collection with 1,000s of stamps (but all US removed)... nice album tho... I try to pass these things along to local scouts and youths to get them interested in collecting
3. eBay win - Scotts 32 Type 2 for $30 bid.

I got a book: Stamps and Postal History of Albania, by Thimi Nika, which I first heard about on this board. I didn't have much time to read today (we're winterizing our house) but it looks fascinating. |
