I searched and searched, and I didn't see a thread like this (of course, I may be blind), so here I go:

What was in YOUR mailbox today?? Any new stamps for your collection? Any interesting aux. markings? Maybe a Marker Monkey? Maybe you are part of Postcrossing and got a card with cool stamps on it? Packages with high denomination stamps???

I received today some newspaper stamps I'd purchased last week from the APS online store (Czechoslovakia, Fiume, Brazil, Bosnia & Herzegovina).

Funny you should ask. My income tax cheque and an envelope full of old Canadian revenues sent to me by our good friend ILS. Thanks Jeff! (for the stamps, not the cheque)

LARRY - ah, sorta the same, but different! :-) I am thinking of ANYTHING postal that arrived in the mail that is of interest... or even NOT interesting, such as mail from the IRS, which is simply frightening...

:-)

Oh " Any new stamps for your collection" I figured would be covered in the link I gave but Ok hope you found it useful anyway.

Here is a few mail items that might fit your thread I guess.

I have a seller that I used that loved to coat the boxes with stamps.

The Paypal check I got yesterday for eBay stamps I sold, It is usually not that high but last month was something else, not quite IRS material but will be eventually.

Had a package decorated with lots of different postage like that. But the sender used a glue on it that you couldn't remove the stamps from the piece without damaging them.

I can just see the look on post office clerks face trying to add that up to cover the shipping chg. I also notice a lack of cancellations!

Last Friday was like Christmas for me. I received my US General Circuit Book from the APS and an order from the stamp dealer for my purchase of C1-C3. Both pkgs. were very nicely franked and cancelled with a variety of stamps.
