Mac, I'm curious about the small numbers - 040, 404, etc. What are they?

Kirk the smaller issued Tonga stamps came in coils of 100 or 200. Either for vending machines or the post office
would sell small boxes of 200. The little number tags are control numbers for the coils.

So, the stamps are self-adhesive and peel off the square backing?
And the coil numbers are printed on the backing?

Thanks for explaining the obvious; there's so much I don't know :-)

Canada has produced some nice "odd" shaped stamps. Here's an oval one.

Good ones, Tina.

Am I crazy or do I recall reading something about stamps from Gibraltar that had actual stone in them?
