There's more to this series, but here are three stamps depicting 6 US Presidents with the US flag as the background: I suspect these were more or less made for collectors though, and not really postally used. |

Hello Quote: I suspect these were more or less made for collectors though, and not really postally used. Maybe not only a suspect, all topical had the same problem, many countries make stamp issue for collectors. Why not call this issues Cinderellas? But sure a question for another topic. Quote: Why not call this issues Cinderellas? Probably because they'd be worth more to call them a cinderella than a stamp! For whatever reason, cinderellas seem to be commanding a high price lately and most won't want to categorize these "stamps" as being worth anything. You were right when you said this is probably a question for another post, but in the meantime, I wonder if there is an accepted list of those countries whose stamps are considered "made for collectors" as opposed to postally used in the country of origin. |

bfranton, I've got that Columbian one. I think the red color makes it very striking and bold. |

I'll bet that the most popular US Presidents in order on foreign stamps will be;
Kennedy Washington Lincoln FDR |

Ok...:) Just for fun. I'm guessing you're wrong... but you certainly have more friends here to post stamps than I, and you've have spent way more time learning stamps. Anyway, I'd say....
Washington Lincoln Kennedy FDR |

hmmmm... I would say Washington is first too but after that... I have NO idea. LOL (And I'm only basing this on what I've already sorted so far **I hold the right to retract my answer in the future - Ha!)
