lindseyr702,

Thank you and Il n'y a pas de quoi. I've posted the earlier pages (not completed but worth checking out) under the Canada forum.

I am neither France nor Canadian but a citizen of US and New Zealand. Strange story of how I came to only collection Newfoundland is too long for this community. But I have focused only on Newfies since 1970. The pages above are from a Lighthouse album which has french notations though.

Tommy:
Very nice pages. I've always liked the Canadian province stamps.
Just one question:
Is there any reason you don't use clear mounts for the stamps that don't have spaces? They would be less of a difference from the ones in the boxes if you did.

OK, I posted this thread in US Modern showing my 2001 stamp pages:

Posting the link is easier than adding all the images to this thread.

Chipg,

The reason is that I was lazy and used the black back mounts for those stamps that were not provided for in the Lighthouse pages. I bought the Lighthouse pages for Newfoundland, with the clear front and back for only the primary cataloged ones. As I have acquired a variant (color or perf for example), I then just cut a black backed clear front and stuck it to the page (and put the stamp inside its sleeve.

But now that you pose the question, this looks stupid and not classy. Frankly, I did not even know you could buy clear mounted front and back mounts....need to rush out and do that

Thanks

How did you get these pictures of your album pages posted? I can't seem to get anything over 300x500 pixels uploaded to the Forum (it always ends up as larger than 100mb) Thanks!

You have to compress or resize it (with like windows photo manager) until its less than 100mb.
Try documents small for example

You can link to a larger image. Put the image up on Flickr or Photobucket, or your own web server, and then simply link to it here.

There is also a "image optimizer" link in the window that opens when you hit the "Reply to Topic" link (rather than typing in the "Quick Reply" box). I've used that and it seems to be pretty good.

I fill my pages with both used and unused stamps. If I have an unused stamp I place it on the page. If I only have a used stamp I place the used stamp. I will switch out a used stamp for an unused stamp if I come across one at a later time.
