Here are images of a souvenir sheet and three stamps designed by KHO/Frimerkjadeildin after period photographs, combined engraved by Czeslaw Slania and photogravure, and issued by Faroe Islands on April 1, 2001 to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Faroese Post Office, Scott No. 395a-c, Facit Nos. 393-95.

Here are some interesting Russian souvenir sheets with unusual materials and printing methods.

This series is devoted to the 2001 state symbols of the Russian Federation: flag, emblem and anthem



Set in 2002 dedicated to the victory in the Davis Cup, the image of cup is covered with silver:




This is one of the three souvenir sheets of 2003 for the 300th anniversary of St. Petersburg, the inscription at the top is covered with gold, and each of these blocks has its own certificate.

Here is an image of a numbered souvenir sheet designed by Hungarian artist Imre von Mosdossy (1904-1995), printed by lithogravure (De La Rue de Colombia), and issued by Panama in April, 1967 to publicize the 1968 Summer Olympic Games in Mexico City, Scott No. 477F.

Here is an image of a souvenir sheet commemorating King Charles III of Spain (1716-1788) and the bicentenary of the Spanish Enlightenment, engraved by Pablo Sampedro Molero, and issued by Spain on December 14, 1988, Scott No. 2588, Edifil No. 2984, plus a detail image of the area within the perforations.
