I have some other territorials, from Western states (or states-to-be). I'm trying to find representative examples of all the states in the West. So far I still have Wyoming, California and Nevada to go.

Sorry for the odd blue tint on some of these -- scanner issues.

With all the wonderful covers here, I felt we needed at least one "Hall of Shame" to shake our collective heads at...

Socorro, New Mexico Territory, 5 Feb 1897 - ruined by the addition of a fake mask cancel and a spurious corner imprint.

Sh** like this infuriates me!

Neat cover! Here's a Washington Territory cover -- the year is hard to read but it's 1889.

Here is an interesting New Mexico Territorial cover I just won at an auction site...

Front and Rear shown.

OK, as far as the postmark trail (as I see it) goes something like this...
Postmarked Santa Fe (Mar 15, 1911) front
Postmarked Domingo (Mar 16 1911 RCVD) rear
Postmarked Bland (Mar 16, 1911) rear
Postmarked Bland (Mar 17, 1911) front
Postmarked Domingo (Mar 17, 1911 RCVD) rear
Postmarked Placitas (Mar 18, 1911) rear

Busy little envelope. Enjoy.

Here are a couple more Hawaii items; a cover cancelled in Haleiwa (Oahu) in 1912, and a nice postcard sent from Plainview, NJ to Honolulu in 1884, when Hawaii was still a sovereign nation. I believe the "5" was the surcharge from the mainland to the islands.

<bump> I picked up another inexpensive Washington territorial, this one from Ellensburg in 1883.

Glad you dusted this one off! I've always enjoyed territorials. Here are a couple more, outside the mainland.

Here's my favorite U.S. territorial from my collection, written in an artificial international language called Bolak, a.k.a. the Blue Language:

I enjoy Territorials quite a bit. I'll have to post some whenever I get a chance.

In one of Clint Eastwood's early westerns, they robbed the Bank of El Paso - the addressee on one of your covers there.

Here is one from Plano, IL to Denver City, KT on 11/10/1859.
Denver City was formed only one year earlier, in November of 1858. This is a very early cover to Denver City, still part of the Kansas Territory.

Found this in a stamp collection I purchased. It was a raised seal off of a legal document:
