Jewish postman leading a procession held by the Jewish community on April 24, 1741 in Prague to celebrate the birth of the Archduke Joseph, son of Maria Theresia, detail from 18th century etching, issued by Israel on October 9, 1960 to publicize the TAVIV stamp exhibition held in Tel-Aviv, Israel. This is the first SS in the world in which the stamp and the margins together show complete image.

wow, I didn't know the SS started at that point! A lot of post-horns I can count on the whole image... Here is a similar posed postman on a horse, in a manner of a stained glass.

Similar mailman with horn on horse, looking back. Hat and mail bags are cute.. but my SG catalogue says he is a hunter..? I don't know the story mentioned, yet he looks nobody else than a mailman!

This mailman on horse looks as fast as the Swedish guy above. Second mailman (or woman?) is using a post ship ( - where in Mongolia??).

Postal coaches and mailmen working. They have Japanese postal flag each, also on one of their black wide hat. Second stamp shows postal marks - the right hand side was the latest of issued year.
