1930: 100 years of the death of Frederic Mistral, father of the Occitan language revival on the XIX century, and Nobel Prize winner. A good friend of Catalonia.  NOTE: I've just realised that the above cinderellas were printed in Marseilles and that the language is Occitan, not Catalan. The two sister languages are so much alike, that sometimes it's hard to differentiate between them. But, they're very nice! |
