Watches, Clocks, Timekeeping On Stamps

The International Museum of Horology is a museum in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, dedicated to the study of time, timekeeping and timekeeping devices (primarily clocks and watches). Here is an image of a stamp with the allegorical design of "Man and Time," designed by Bernard Jéquier, printed by photogravure (Courvoisier, S.A.), and issued by Switzerland on August 30, 1973 to publicize the museum, Scott No. 582.

Enns is a town in the Austrian state of Upper Austria on the river Enns. Enns was one of the first places in Austria to receive town privileges. The main tower featured in the stamp was built between 1564 and 1568.
