"The opulent, vivacious blonde lyric soprano Florence George was given only two rather routine opportunities to stake her claim in films. As such, she was not given the chance to challenge the other glamorous film opera divas who were the rage of the day ('Jeanette Macdonald', Grace Moore, Susanna Foster, Lily Pons and Gladys Swarthout). Instead, she remained focused on radio, concerts, recordings and the stage for the rest of her career".

Hi Rod
Your "Asthma Allergy" seal is from Denmark
"Lœg aldrig penge I alm breve" : Never put money in ordinary letters

And the two seals above are not from Iceland but from Faroe Islands.

Brilliant !
You've done it again Vayolene, now you're showing off

I had an inkling it was DK, I have seen other Asthma cynosure seals
from DK, but in seemingly haphazard styles.
Still, am in awe of your, research ability. Extraordinary!
Thank you very much, was not expecting to successfully ID that one.

It also solves a few bits of slogans that intrigued me,
(The face peering out of the letterbox)
