Has anyone started thinking about preparing cachets for 08-08-08 when the games open?

Did anyone watch the opening OLYMPIC ceremonies last night?!!
They were awesome! It was also quite a GEOGRAPHY lesson with some of the countries, but Matt L. from the TODAY show did a good job of helping me locate a few of them. They even mentioned STAMPS- an athlete from one of the countries has a stamp made after him.
I noticed beautiful Guatemala was followed by one of my favorite stamp countries--Hungary. Awesome ceremony despite some of the tensions between countries!

Thanks!

Thanks Phil for the olympic posts! Yes, it was a beautiful ceremony!
Hey, Phil, is that last Nicaragua stamp of a guy spear fishing??? Is that an Olympic sport, too? I know they have all kinds of new stuff nowadays compared to 20 years ago--heck they might even have added bubble gum blowing as a new sport?! ha (No criticism meant to the Olympic sport or athletes.)

Thanks!

Are there any more OLYMPIC stamps out there??

I love the Michael Phelps wins!

I noticed that there are very few swimming olympic stamps represented here. Anyone have any more of the swim stamps for the OLYMPIC GAMES???

PLEASE share!

Thanks!
Gussyboy1
