Olympic Games of years 1952-1972, designed and engraved by Michel Monvoisin, and issued by Mali on November 13, 1972. Each stamp shows view from the city or the Olympic stadium, city's symbol and a gold medal winner from the country hosted the Olympic Games shown. (information by nethryk)

Summer Olympic games, Mexico, 1968, a set of 7 stamps issued by Monaco on April 29, 1968. Here are the first 4 stamps:

- Shot Put, designed by André Peyrie, engraved by Jean Miermont
- High Jump, designed by André Peyrie, engraved by Michel Monvoisin
- Steady Rings, designed and engraved by Pierre Gandon
- Water Polo, designed and engraved by Claude Durrens

Olympic Games, Melbourne, Australia, designed and engraved by Raoul Serres, issued for use in Saar on July 25, 1956. Stamps show head of a young man, called the "De Bénévent" head (From Benevento), C. 50 BC Roman era:

Olympic Games, issued by Hungary on March 7, 1969. stamp shows the head of Hermes Praxiteles, an old Greek sculpture from the 4th century BC, discovered at Olympia in 1877 and is exhibited at the Archaeological Museum of Olympia, Greece:
