Just stopping to say hello, and to thank everyone for the great information I've already been able to glean reading through the comments here about albums and collecting hints.

Many (too many) years ago as a lad I did the whole "stamps on approval" thing with Kenmore and quite liked it, but life and money intervened. As I've moved up in years, seeing a co-worker's quite nice collection inspired me to take a look again, especially now in the internet era. It's both a blessing and a curse to have so much information and access to material so readily available .

Collection-wise I enjoy the classic two-tone British colonials and am still struggling on which album series to commit to, or whether to go the Albumeasy route and make it to my own needs.

Cheers & happy collecting!

Welcome back! I am also a childhood collector now returning to the hobby. And I am also not too sure what exact path to take. So far I've been reorganizing my old stock books from theme-based to country and chronological. The less interesting stuff are being kept in envelops for now. I also have a ton of random CTO's from Kenmore and other dealers. I've purchased some stock sheets that can go into a 3-ring binder. They're very flexible to move around and come in different pocket sizes. The most important thing (unexpected) is that I got my kid interested in collecting too! Hope I can keep that up! Hope you continue to enjoy your new old hobby too!

Welcome to the Forum and back to active collecting.

One thing you might try to aid in your album decision would be to use AlbumEasy to generate a page or two and see what you think. You might get hooked.
If you haven't seen it, at https://www.thestampweb.com/albums/free-downloads there are quite a few free Great Britain albums which you might check out or modify to suit your own particular wants. It is not hard to get up and running on AlbumEasy.
