I recently came across this Chinese revenue? stamp.

I can't find it in my Chinese revenue catalogue.
Wondering if anyone can provide more information on this item.

Thanks Rogdcam, do you recognize the overprint?
I have "The General Catalogue of the Chinese Tax Stamps" but these do not seem to be catalogued in that book. Any idea where I can get a definitive reference for these stamps?

No, I don't. Someone can correct me if I am wrong, but I don't think Barefoot catalogs these and I have been unable to find more information.

I believe the overprint is the Province but my Chinese leaves a LOT to be desired.

The forum does have Chinese readers/writers though and maybe collectors of these as well. Let's see what happens!

These Liquor Tax stamps are catalogued in the Handbook and Checklist of Chinese Revenue Stamps by J. G. Wetterling. They are also found in the Barefoot South East Asia Revenues catalogue in page 17 in the China (Japanese Occupation) section.
