Google shows the attached pictured stamp as 1955 issue. It is a rubber stamp image not a actual stamp. May be airmail?

The clock tower is Elizabeth tower. It is part of the building depicted, the world's most famous symbol for parliamentary democracy. The bridge in front of it is Westminster Bridge and the river is called the Thames.
