In my zeal to collect all of the Priority and Express Mail stamps I inadvertently got two copies of 3411 Escaping Gravity minisheets. One is 127x184mm, which is the size specified in the StampWorld catalogue and for which Mystic has a mount. The other is 164x202mm.

The actual stamps on both minisheets are the same size. The components on the pictures on both minisheets are the same size so the difference is that some parts of the picture on the larger minisheet were trimmed.

Does anyone know the story behind this? Does the larger sheet have a different Scott #?

there was (I think) a few press sheet were issued perforated and imperforated. (I have the Barnum Circus press sheet and & believe the stamps are imperfs.) I also have the Santa Clause issued with the annual yearbook that was a S/S which was imperforated. I thought in the beginning the press sheets were available either way. (I think the dementia is taking over)..Any hard reference other the SC (USPS?) which might have technical requirements, other than (or maybe) issue press release.

My Scott Specialized only mentions press sheets with perforated stamps for this issue. There were 5 panes of 3409-3413 in each press sheet.

The oversized souvenir sheet was definitely cut from the press sheet. Here's a photo of the entire press sheet. You can see that there is a lot more imagery beyond what was included in the individual souvenir sheets as issued. There were no imperforate press sheets. That practice began much later.
