What a joy for you to be reborn, Don.
A nephrologist I know refers to it as "Liquid Gold." |

Way to go! Congratulations of the highest level. As a person on dialysis I know the joy and relief you are experiencing. Once your kidney is up to speed, please have a large beverage for me!
I am so happy for you!!! |

Congratulations and best wishes to you Don!
As a dialysis patient I fully understand the miracle you have received. Enjoy your new kidney and remember to treat it well. Drink over 32oz of your favorite beverage for me!! LOL.

My boyfriend went through this as well... TWICE! The first kidney (his father's) didn't work out. Ten years of dialysis later, a 4-way swap (4 people involved) was set up and his doctors STILL can't get over how perfect a match he got!
Just give it time, the doctors may need to fine tune the medications, etc. Keep track of the various foods you can't eat, too, as some react with the meds, etc. |
