I have a 2 cent Transmississippi stamp on a check and am wondering how common are they on checks and what the value would be.
Sorry , I have no picture of it. I have misplaced it somewhere but as soon as I find it will put a picture up. How hard should I be looking for it??

I would need to see a good clear picture. But, I would say a min. of $25. If this is one of the recognised provisional uses it could be SIGNIFIGANTLY more! I would look very hard!

Now that would be an interesting usage. I enjoy old bank checks especially on stamped revenue paper or a postage stamp affixed for a surcharge or fee.
