Previous Page Or Previous Post

Often the threads on this board will generate multiple pages of comments. As we are an international family, some of those comments are made while we sleep.
When we find such a thread, it often reaches several pages. Occasionally, the comments on the new page seem disjointed, because the poster didn't quote the poster that they were responding to.
Using the Previous Page button takes back to the first post, and we have scroll down 15 posts to find the post we missed.
If the Previous button opened a new tab at the last post, we'd still be on the Previous page and on the current page.
Just a thought.
