From what I can tell from the scan, it's buff. 67a is browner, 67b is much brighter though some shades can be confused with bright buff. 67a and 67b are very different from each other. |

Dutch, you crop and copy the perfs in your photo editor, paste the copy onto image and compare to opposite side.

I think Winston is right about the added margins. The stamp should be dipped and it would be great to post some images from the back while still wet.
Dutch, was the stamp properly described when you bid on it?

BTW, I also agree with sinclair2010. Several red flags on this stamp, including potentially added margins (especially at top and left). Who sold it? Do they offer extensions & pay cert costs if bad? |

thank you. its a on line auction with no refunds. as soon as it arrives I will do all testing with UV and liquids and post. will be a good learning for me for futhure |

"on line auction with no refunds" Hopefully, you didn't pay more than US$50 for it then... From the scan alone (no fluid or UV necessary), I'd say there's a good chance the stamp is a filler with major repairs/alterations. |

That's a rebacked stamp from a quick look at it. 67s with margins like that are extremely rare but you can see some shadowing/differences between the design and the margins. |
