i have a few coils with a strange line at top or bot-hem, not a line pair but on the non perf side.

i presume it means they are fake, but I just bought an album and again I find 2 of them.

....can someone confirm and/or help me explain were it comes from

Dutch, Chasa is correct. Look at the bottom of that "coil" It should be straight and parallel to the design of the stamp. It is not - someone tried to make a curiosity.

This stamp was never issued as a coil. Someone took a margin copy, and tried to make it look like a coil. The red line is the cut line where the printer cut the large sheet into smaller panes.

Enlarge and look at bottom right , you can see traces of perf.

Something fishy about the bottom look like digital alteration

thank you all for the info, but just to make sure, since I have a few more, from various collections, a coil can NEVER have the (extra) line on the non perf side?
