Agreed. Unlike our forum admin, I am a Chrome user/fan. And the plugin method works well.
Personally, I'd prefer to see that implemented on the USER'S machine and not on SCF. No use adding more processing load on the back end.
Just my 2¢ worth ...

PS. just to get you started on the right foot, GRAMMAR does not contain the letter E

redwoodrandy I would only add that plugins can be a mixed blessing. If at any time in the future you run into any kind of browsing troubles that you should consider disabling the various plugins as the first step in troubleshooting. Don |

You can try composing your posts in a word processor or text editor that has spell checking built in, and when you're done writing just do the old cut-'n-paste into the text box. It's a bit of a pain, but browser plugins can be slow and unstable, so if you can't get one to work for you, give it a try.

Right, PDD. I was thinking of using google translate: It's not made for spelling, but if I already have the chrome open, I better use that then loading MS office. |

I run Chrome on Linux Mint and double clicking a word produces a popup bubble with the #1 definition from Google. The popup also contains a More link which takes you to the same search you get via the right click -> Google route. I'm not sure whether the same holds true for Windows but worth a try.
