1. When visiting a previously viewed thread, when you select the thread jump down to the last message read. 2. When you post in a thread, you are automatically subscribed to updates

1) I can tell where you were last summer. Nice feature.
2) Not everyone wants the extra eMail.
Cheers,

These are both common vbulletin features. The auto subscribe is also a selectable option |

Definitely no on number two. I like to be selective as to the threads I subscribe to. I get enough useless emails. I would view this feature as an annoyance. As for the other, I am usually visiting new threads that I haven't seen before or threads that I've subscribed to and have previously read completely. In that case, all I have to do is click on the link for the new post (using the already existing "new post" feature"), and I go right to it. So the first suggestion wouldn't add anything for me. |

Please excuse me but I will be totally blunt for a minute.
I cannot invest any time/money in anything major here until it starts pulling it's own weight. This place hasn't paid it's own way in years, doesn't even cover it's own costs. The coin forum has been absorbing the shortfalls here for years. Note: I only work at home, this is not just a hobby for me.
Almost no one here ever clicks ads and very few ever donate. (Thank you very much to those of you that do, I do appreciate it.) What I find very interesting is that the people that bark the loudest about things have never donated a nickel (some even block ads, yes I know who you are and I will be addressing it in the near future), the ones that donate all the time never say a peep.
Tried the autosubscribe and within two hours had people screaming. It's not hard to check off a box when you post, it's right in front of you.

Sorry if it's right in front of me and I'm not seeing it, but where is the link to donate? I'll be happy to make a contribution. |

Artful, look at the top of the thread to the left, and you'll see the "Donate" button under the blue "Donations" heading. |

No worries. Didn't see it as fishing, rather it just reminded me that I planned to become a supporter before the end of CY16. |
