Hello Don,
yes, first attempt, a link to a blog was included.
Then I tried with less and less content, until I just typed the Thread title and included a *.jpg image
Still no success.

Should I try again with a differing thread title, and a another image for test?

Aha!
I tried attaching the cinderella image to the above post.

It aborted as explained in first post.

I'll rename the image, and try again

renamed "test image.jpg"

Rod,
Hmm, interesting. Thanks for trying various things. I would guess that for whatever reason(s) the server did not like the first file name and it threw the generic error message. Perhaps a funky character in the file name?

For the record, this is the text string that will continually abort, as explained.

Weird, file name seems to work ok here. Have you not paid your internet bill? Or perhaps you forgot to feed your mouse?

I do know that this error message is a bit misleading as it can be displayed for various problems. Glad you figured it out, I will keep an eye out for it.

Don,
when I just type that exact text string into SCF and try and post, it aborts.

Apologies for giving you a headache :)

Perhaps "hissar" is a disallowed word

It appears that it does not like a eroplane fund.
I tried virtually every combination of words and it definitively chokes on the words a eroplane and fund. I searched through the disallowed words and these are not on there so I am unsure for what it doesn't like them.

Hi Rod:

I'm late to the party ; sounds like you might have solved this.

But for my 2¢ worth -- I try to avoid SPACES in filenames; they give me headaches :-)

I empathise
I have used spaces for years in my filenames, became second nature,
SCF seems to accept my idiosyncrasies OK, occasionally a refusal.

Please accept my virtual paracetamol.
