philb. That is a fairly common item (in terms of date, bank, stamp, etc.), but neat non-the-less. Difficult to tell from the scan, but it almost looks as though the stamp isn't cancelled, which would have been illegal! lol
Chequer, thanks for the reply ..i found it and thought it was worth a try showing you ! You are correct the stamp has no sign of any cancellation !! Did not dawn on me that you were under 50 posts or perhaps I should have shown it under this heading in the first place !
