Two Moderately Tough Battleship-Era Revenue Blocks

I don't do a whole lot with material in the "Battleship Era", but these two tougher blocks caught my eye and was able to get them at decent prices. I especially like the used block due to the cancels. Not a scarce cancel by any means, but the block makes for a nice presentation.

R183 mint full gum. A tougher block, cataloging $1,250.




R177, used block of 4 catalogs $700.

Tough blocks. As always with documentary revenues, mint stamps MUST have gum. There is no such thing as an "unused" documentary revenue stamp.

Yup. I wouldn't have considered the first block unused if it didn't have gum.
