Although I have quite a few, I don't typically search out covers. yesterday at a local antique shop, I noticed these covers. First 3 were sold separately and the rest were in 2 large lots. Spent about 20 bucks for them and another 20 for 2 old albums with a bunch of BOB, cinderellas, and other interesting stuff.
These are the covers that stuck out the most to me:
Not only was someone a Hunter and big time Sportsman, someone had an eye for attractive covers. Although Philatelic those last 2 NZ covers are nice with some higher value franking (1/- and the 2/-)
The company to whom the first cover was addressed to "Sawyer Brothers" of East Templeton, Mass., has an interesting history behind it in the chair making industry back in the day:
Nice find. These are the kind of guys I like. Hunting and fishing! The apo923 looks like it was Brisbane Australia. I'm sure that was a little unsettling to be there in 1942. Very nice haul.
