Found a couple of sets of these in some more stuff I pulled out of storage. The set is made up of A$20, A$50, A$100 and A$200 specimens

I wonder how many people nowadays purchase and use TCs when travelling?

Not surprising, usage of traveler's checks are on a steep decline (especially in Europe) as explained in this news article. Interesting that American Express (one of the largest issuers of traveler's checks) would not comment as to the decline of their usage. That in itself should speak volumes:
