Curious what topics you actively collect.

I collect stamps with cars, trains, and flowers mostly, with some stamps-on-stamps. Otherwise, a stamp has to strike my fancy for other reasons. I also am a sucker for a nice engraved issue...

UPDATE: I forgot to add US revenues, private die, and other back-of-book. I recently started looking at state tax stamps, but can't dive into collecting them just now...

Nells, for the most part I collect a half dozen countries but a year ago started to pick up a few topical packages that tickled my fancy. I enjoy viewing ships, planes, zeppelins, fire/police, trains, dinosaurs(for grandchildren), lighthouses, hockey and war. I don't care if they are CTOs because these stamps are for my own enjoyment.

Nells, my topical interests are wooden boats, from wooden sailing ships to native craft, wooden boatbuilding, and some related seafaring stuff if it fits my criteria of "I like it". I also enjoy finding out about different engravers and collecting their work. I have a "sub-topical" bubbling away which might come to the surface of handcrafts, basket making, weaving, woodworking, that kind of thing.
