I'm trying to catalog this cover, using the "American Air Mail Catalog, Fifth Edition". It carries a Suva, Fiji postmark and a Sydney RPO, but I can find no listing for it. By all rights, it should carry the Cat # f19-20b.

In fact I can find no cover from Fiji to Australia with a November 9, 1941 postmark. Am I missing something here?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Bill - Fresno CA

Additional Information:

I found this from an old Pan Am order form.

I believe this link shows it as an F19-20:

Thanks wt1, I will have to explore those sites in depth when I have a little more time. I see nothing right off the bat.

Your cover is catalog number F19-20. The first flight leg was from Suva, Fiji to Auckland, New Zealand. The onward transmission to Australia on Tasmania Airways was existing service and not a first flight for those points. As such it is merely the way it reached Australia. In the same vein one would not consider that it was initially sent from California to Suva, and that it was returned from Australia to California as parts of the first flight.
